In a process plant the ventilation is not a comfort item, it is part of how the product is made and how the people around it stay safe.
We worked from their process requirements — extract where it was needed, supply where it was not going to disturb anything, and quality control held separately from production.
Materials were chosen for the environment rather than for cost, which matters in a plant where the air is not always dry and neutral.
